No, your long term care insurance does not pay for your independent living or assisted living alternative home or utlities.
- Your rent or maintenance fee covers the cost of occupying your home and any routine maintenance (ex: trash pick up, changing light bulbs, broken garbage disposal), emergency maintenance (ex: broken air conditioning unit, broken water pipe), snow removal, and lawn maintenance.
- Residents are responsible for their own utilities which include water, gas, electricity, cable and internet services.
- Special maintenance projects can be requested and are an additional fee.
Yes, pets 25lb or less are welcome. A Pet Addendum will need to be completed and signed.
You do not have to sign a new lease every year. Give us a 60-day written notice of your wanting to move out and we’ll plan on transitioning the home to the future resident at the end of the 60 days.

CARE assessment stands for Client, Assessment, Referral, Evaluation. This assessment is completed through KDADS to help us determine what level of care your loved one might need. This is required for a prospective resident to be admitted to any facility in the state of Kansas. Social services will help set this up with you.
Yes. We have an in-house Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy team that works with residents to help them meet their goals.
