For the third year in a row, Kansas Christian Home hosted a heartwarming Galentine’s Day celebration, bringing together residents, staff, and community members from Newton, Kansas. This special event, dedicated to friendship, laughter, and a little bit of sweetness, has quickly become a beloved tradition on our campus.
With a room filled with smiles and the delightful aroma of cupcakes, attendees enjoyed a joyful afternoon of games, gift exchanges, and plenty of fun. Residents from our long-term care and independent living communities joined with guests from Newton, strengthening the bonds of friendship that make KCH such a welcoming place.
Sweet Treats & Shared Joy
No Galentine’s Day would be complete without desserts! A spread of beautifully decorated cupcakes was enjoyed by all, adding a little extra sugar to the day’s festivities. Laughter echoed through the room as friends gathered to play “Friendly Feud” that sparked friendly competition and camaraderie.
The highlight of the event was a gift exchange, where attendees shared thoughtful tokens of appreciation. Each gift, big or small, represented the love and care that makes this community special.
A Tradition Worth Keeping
As we celebrated our third annual Galentine’s Day, it was clear that this event has become more than just a gathering—it’s a cherished tradition. Seeing new friendships blossom and longtime friends reconnect reminds us of the importance of community, support, and joy in every stage of life.
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s event so special. We look forward to keeping this tradition alive for years to come! 💕
